New PS5 games 2025: this year’s most anticipated releases
Here's a short list of 2025's biggest and most anticipated new PS5 games. These all have release dates, which will be updated if there are delays or cancellations. As it's still early on in the year, expect even more games to be announced as we go.
April
Players will get their hands on Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 in April, which contains a huge open-world, and classic turn-based combat.
May
Doom: The Dark Ages tears its way onto PS5 in May. It's a medieval prequel that sees the Doom Slayer armed with a new chainsaw-shield weapon. Oh, and you can ride a dragon.
June
June sees the release of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, which features big name actors like Elle Fanning and Norman Reedus, as well as Mad Max director George Miller.
2025 and TBC
